Join Debbie Gillies, Chief Executive of True Harvest Seeds, and learn how to collect seeds from native plants and preserve them for science and agriculture. True Harvest Seeds is a plant conservation charity that collects seeds and uses them for restoration projects.

In this workshop you will be trained in how to conserve seeds and save them for future use. The first half of the workshop will begin with a learning session about seeds in the Long Hall (10 AM – 12 PM). We will then break for lunch for an hour. After, we will head out to Sonairte’s Nature Trail to find beautiful native Irish plants to conserve and bring home (1 PM – 4 PM).
