To celebrate Biodiversity Week 2023 join Sonairte and Brian Keely of Bat Conservation Ireland on Saturday 27th of May for a Bat Walk  event .

This event starts at 8 PM in the Long Hall with a presentation on bats  to learn more about various species in Ireland and their habitats. As the sun goes down, we will go around the Sonairte grounds on a bat walk/bat survey. This event is expected to end around 11 PM, but there will be an opportunity to leave earlier for families with children. 

Please wear sturdy outdoor shoes and bring your own torch! Sonairte reserves the right to cancel the event if minimum attendance is not met or in the case of changing health regulations relating to COVID-19.
